Review :

Interesting Spanish tale with fine performances

This Jose Antonio Nieves Conde film is a good story which packs an intelligent tale about deceits and lies. It concerns a mature man played by the Mexican actor Arturo De Cordoba and a young women well performed by the recently deceased Emma Penella. They go a Hotel of Asturias with his son, when he's suddenly drowned. Then the story changes and emerge several problems, tragedies an thought-provoking drama. Nice acting by the veteran Arturo De Cordoba , a beautiful Emma Penella and Felix Dafauce as Police Inspector. Adequate photography Francisco Sempere, evocative musical score by Miguel Arbo and appropriate sets by Gil Parrondo. This is a cool Spanish film from the 5os finely directed by Jose Antonio Nieves Conde, who filmed another good movie: Don Lucio and Hermano Pio.
